About Us
Thanks for stopping by!
Each of our pieces is thoughtfully curated, packaged, and shipped from our modern home to yours. So grab a rug (or two) from our shop and start decorating!
How often do you list new rugs?
New rugs go live on our website every Sunday at 8PM Eastern. Rugs are then sold on a first come, first serve basis. We do not offer early or pre-sales to keep the listing process fair.
What is the best way to preview new rugs before Sundays?
Follow us on Facebook & Instagram! We post sneak peeks of new rugs all week leading up to Sundays, as well as a slideshow of every new rug name and size every Sunday morning via our Instagram story. If you ever want more info or pricing on a rug in advance of 8PM, message us on Instagram and we’ll get right back to you.
I had a rug in my cart but then it sold out! How is this possible?
Unfortunately there is no secret to the "best way" to purchase one of our rugs, it's simply the first person to check out. This means that if you add a rug to your cart but someone purchases it before you, it can then show up as "unavailable" during your checkout. We realize this can be really frustrating, especially since each rug is one of a kind, but currently don't have a better solution while still keeping the listing process fair to all!
How does your pricing work?
We believe that you shouldn't have to break the bank to have a beautiful antique rug and strive to sell rugs at the most affordable prices on the market. However, if you see a rug on our site that you love but is above your budget, feel free to message us and make an offer! New arrivals are not eligible for discounts.
Is shipping included?
Shipping is additional and is calculated at checkout based on your zip code and the weight of the rug. We do have business accounts set up with all major carriers (USPS, Fedex, and UPS), so get discounts that help keep your shipping costs low! If you are local (north of Boston) and would rather pick up your rug in person, send us an email or DM and we can give you a code to remove shipping costs.
Do you accept returns?
All sales are final. Please note that when you purchase from NE Loom you are purchasing an item that is pre-owned and vintage by nature. Rugs might have areas of wear or inconsistent/faded colors but we believe those flaws make them even more beautiful.
How quickly will I receive my rug?
All shipments will be sent within 3-5 business days of your order. We ship worldwide, but please note that shipping charges and delivery windows will increase outside of the US.
Do you edit your rug photos?
All photos are taken on an iPhone with no filter and in natural daylight, so our hope is that rugs should appear in person exactly as they do in our photos. We try to represent each rugs' true colors and designs, but are happy to send additional photos upon request. Rugs will appear darker at night or in rooms with minimal sunlight.
What is the best cleaning process?
All rugs are cleaned before being shipped. For cleaning at home, we recommend vacuuming your rug weekly with an upholstery attachment, running the head of the vacuum with the grain of the pile. If you experience spills, we recommend spot cleaning your rug with water, mild soap, and a soft towel (use one part water, one part white vinegar if soiled by a pet). Blot until the stain stops transferring onto the towel and then use a hair dryer set to "cool" to dry.
Are your rugs available for events?
Rugs are also available for rent locally for weddings, dinners and other events. Email us at newenglandloom@gmail.com if interested.
Do you offer gift cards?

Do you have a physical store?
